I make brochure like websites in html and css coding. A website can be designed in almost any way you like. Before I start I will try to get a feeling of what type of website you would like to have. Normally I ask the customer to send me a few web links of their personal favorites, or pictures of design ideas they might have. Thereafter, I will provide the customer with a first draft web design proposal created as a photoshop image. From that point on we can adjust the design until you are happy with it.

For a small extra fee the text and pictures on these pages can be edited by yourself. If you have a 5 page html or css website for example, the extra cost is £50 in total for this service.

A more comprehensive way of producing a web site is through an open source content management system i.e Joomla. The Joomla system offers many different components and modules, and it provides more interactive features for the viewer.

For Joomla design, I normally use standardised templates. However, most sections and pictures can be edited and changed according to your needs and your company design. There are thousands of free templates to choose from, and even more if you want to purchase specific designed ones on the internet. The cost of a designed template starts from approx. £50.

Designing web pages in Joomla is very good when you have many pages, and you want to edit them often and add content regularly.

The cost for producing web design in Joomla depends on the combination of your desired number of pages, interactivity and features. Please ask for a specific Joomla quote. Generally, you will get a great web system, and the cost does not have to be substantially higher compared to the html and css based designed website.
